Our Endorsement Process

These endorsements reflect months of research and evaluation by Wyoming Neighbors for Housing. We only endorse candidates who demonstrate a commitment to expanding housing opportunities across Wyoming. While every race is unique, our endorsements are guided by several key considerations, including:

• Responses to our Candidate Questionnaire

• A demonstrated commitment to increasing Wyoming's housing supply.

• Support for reducing unnecessary barriers to home construction.

• Recognition of the importance of investing in housing infrastructure, including water, sewer, roads, and utilities.

• A willingness to work collaboratively with local communities, builders, employers, and housing organizations.

• Alignment with Wyoming Neighbors for Housing's policy agenda.

• Voting records and public actions for incumbent candidates.

We appreciate every candidate who stepped forward to serve the people of Wyoming. Public service requires dedication, and we thank every candidate who participated in our endorsement process. Regardless of the outcome of the election, Wyoming Neighbors for Housing remains committed to working with elected officials from across the political spectrum to advance practical housing solutions for Wyoming communities.

Why These Candidates

After careful review, Eric Barlow, Robert Short, Curt Meier, and Steve Harshman have demonstrated the strongest commitment to advancing policies that will help Wyoming build more homes and keep housing affordable.

These candidates recognize that solving Wyoming's housing shortage requires increasing housing supply, investing in the infrastructure that supports new neighborhoods, reducing unnecessary barriers to construction, and working collaboratively with local governments and the private sector. Their experience, leadership, and willingness to advance practical solutions position them to help move Wyoming forward.
